First and foremost, I love cucumber flavored anything so when I found this beauty in the liquor store I was all in! I am one to usually order vodka when I am out drinking with friends because I like the buzz and feeling vodka gives me as a whole. I started ordering vodka waters because I was just following the crowd and didn’t really know what to order from a bar when I first turned 21. Now I know ordering a drink should be exactly what you want! There’s no reason to waste your money on a drink that you don’t really enjoy. I started to order cucumber vodka with sprite out at the bars and I will never go back!

Since all of the bars are currently closed down, my roommate and I decided to bring the fun to our own apartment with Western Son Vodka. This particular vodka is really fun to sip on when you get a good flavor that you enjoy. It isn’t too strong and the cucumber one has a great taste to it. It has a 30% alcohol level and comes in a pleasing bottle. I find this kind of vodka to be easier to take shots with then other brands. It gives me a good buzz without having to drink too much which is great because with all the sugar it contains, it could potentially lead to a hangover the following day.

The best things to mix this drink with is Sprite but you can also use cranberry juice, orange juice, and even club soda. This brand of vodka offers so many other flavors like peach, watermelon, blueberry, lime, raspberry, prickly pear, grapefruit, and more! Just like with almost every other alcoholic brand there is, Western Son has also made canned cocktails (like a seltzer) that I have yet to try but heard so far that they taste really good. You can find a bottle of Western Son vodka for around $16 at any local liquor store.
